“Why?” is the first song I wrote during the suffering and isolation of the Covid lockdown. Simple, plaintive, and less than 2 minutes long, it presents a series of profound questions I directed personally to God as I wondered at the mystery of his love for me.

A poetic ballad moved by Psalm 91 and Romans 8. The suffering believer cries out, seeking refuge under the shadow of the Almighty, and ultimately finds assurance that nothing can separate us from divine love.
